I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream 'Jump Rope!'

Everyone is trying to get in shape and look good these days. Women want a smaller waist size and the Men want a cut body. The ideal places that come to mind when these wants occur are Gyms, Fitness classes, and weightloss programs. With these places in mind, you are already thinking about 1 to two hour workout sessions of cardio or a major change in your food intake that can last for months just to get results. Studies show that the best way to get the smaller waist size and cut body built is from a simple activity known as jump roping.

Jumping Rope has a list of benefits: 1 hour a day will burn 1000 calories, which is more than running could get you. You would have to run an eight-minute mile run to get the same results. Jump roping is inexpensive, portable, and great for cardiovasular fitness. This exercise gives you a full body workout that works the upper body(forearms, chest, abs, wrist, triceps and biceps) and lower body(calves, legs, and quads).

You should jump rope at least 3 times a week, but don't over do it; too much can cause stress on the joints and knees leading to later joint problems and arthritis. So get out there, "Scream" and get in shape and reach a new fitness goal for the summer.
